NEW WORK … COLLAGE

In the last 4 or 5 years our family experienced many challenges .  I turned to God and to prayer.  I began to pray through my art--to speak to God and His Holy ones in the language of color, line and word.  Figures appeared and bowed before His Saints and Angels. They opened their arms to receive His Grace.  Messages were shared.  A theme emerged.  Trust God.  Believe that He can help .  God loves us.  He loves all of His creation.  Sometimes his pure love shines through a cat,  a tree,  the night sky,  a moon , the bright and warming sun.  

People who resonate with my art often speak of finding their own deeper connection with the Divine and receiving the support they needed to get through their own challenges.  

I was deeply inspired by a paper artist,  who used found objects to create moving and powerful scenes .  Although I would never have believed it,  my new work uses paper or cardboard surfaces,  oil crayons, colored tape,  makers and bits of sticky paper.  The stuff of life.  Intimate and friendly.
